Promoting young talent and securing the future is something that concerns us all! As a recognized network partner in the field of dual vocational training, WorldSkills Germany opens up new ways for young people to turn their passion into a career. The fascination with the professions and their appeal should encourage them to use vocational training as a springboard for their careers. The aim is to raise the profile of vocational competitions in order to motivate young people to perform exceptionally well, because ultimately an economy can only be successful with motivated and skilled workers.

For every person, work means integration into our society. Each of the more than 400 employees who work in the Oberursel workshops should feel comfortable at work and be offered as many opportunities as possible for personal development and fulfillment. A variety of work areas are available to make everyday working life a varied experience, such as assembly work, packaging, document shredding, document management, woodworking, catering and much more. Special Olympics Germany (SOD) is a German organization of the world's largest sports movement for people with intellectual and multiple disabilities, officially recognized by the International Olympic Committee (IOC). Founded in 1968 by Eunice Kennedy-Shriver, a sister of US President John F. Kennedy, Special Olympics is now represented by almost 4 million athletes in 170 countries. Beyond sport, SOD sees itself as an everyday movement with a holistic offering.

This holistic approach also takes into account the circumstances of the athletes and offers proven programs, e.g. in the areas of health, families or further education, which enables the inclusion of athletes with intellectual disabilities in social projects."

When a brother or sister is diagnosed with a serious or incurable illness, children and young people are often thrust overnight into a role that they are not yet able to fulfill at their young age. These children need support. It is inevitable that they will no longer receive the attention they need from their completely overwhelmed relatives.

Since 2014, the Christmas Wonder Packages campaign has been wrapping hundreds of presents every year, creating excitement and joy with their mysterious surprise effect. 100% of the proceeds from the sale go to the siblings. This campaign is carried out in cooperation with Geschwisterzeit Rhein-Main, the Frankfurt Children's Office and the Frankfurt Outpatient Children's Hospice.
